The Governor Wolf Historical Society will hold a tavern night 6:30-10 p.m. Nov. 10 on the Governor Wolf Historic Society campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road.

Two bands will be featured - The Blue Route Blues Band in the Academy building and The Damn Dutch in the Ralston McKeen House.

There will be an exhibit by local artist Gene Allen, complimentary light refreshments and handmade strudels for sale.

The event is BYOB, and attendees must be 21 and over.

A $10 donation is requested.

Allen Township Fire Department will hold its annual Thanksgiving filling sale 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 18.

Lappawinzo Rod and Gun Club, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will hold a breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Nov. 19. It is open to the public.
