Folks seem to be focusing on shoveling snow this week, and not making many plans for venturing out except to go to work. A number of area muncipal meetings have been canceled or rescheduled.

The Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will have a half-price sale on all adult clothing and shoes through Saturday, Jan. 31. Donations of good used clean clothing are gratefully accepted during store operation hours which are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Proceeds from the Thrift Shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
