Jon Bond to participate in Hawk Mountain Art Tour

Bond will exhibit more than 150 original works created in oil, egg tempera, and watercolor, including 50 brand-new paintings.

Bond’s studio work is the result of his constant hiking and sketching treks throughout the bucolic fields and woodlots surrounding his studio in rural Kempton.

This exhibition brings together a body of paintings that reflect Bond’s sustained attention to atmosphere, structure, and the quiet rhythms of the natural world.

His careful lived-in observations of the Kittatinny Mountain Range are evident in the craftsmanship of the imagery he presents.

Jon’s paintings capture transitional moments; late winter thaw, early spring light, the stillness before growth resumes.

Through restrained color, subtle shifts in value, and careful orchestration of space, Bond evokes environments that feel both familiar and contemplative.

All of Jon’s work is available for purchase, including an array of gift items featuring images of his unique creations.

The Hawk Mountain Arts Tour is a free self-guided driving tour held every year on the first Saturday in June.

Visitors may choose their own route, set their own pace, and enjoy a wide variety of art by talented artists displaying their work in their home studios or host locations, all within the scenic Albany Township region. Visit Jon’s studio at 59 Kempton Road, Kempton.
