The Backyard Certified Wildlife Habitat program, presented by Whitehall Environmental Advisory Council, will be held 6:30 p.m. June 2. Learn what it takes to certify your yard as a wildlife habitat and the various programs available.

The summer reading program — Unearth a Story — begins June 13. All ages can participate in our reading incentive program. Sign up, track your reading, and earn great prizes!

Join us for our summer reading kickoff with Wildlands Conservancy. All are welcome 1 p.m. June 13 to meet and learn about local animals.

Old Time True Crime is planned for 6:30 p.m. June 18. Local storyteller Ellen Flynn returns to share local true crime cases from the 1800s and early 1900s. Hear the stories and examine the evidence of real cases from around the Lehigh Valley.

The Insects, Fossils and Secrets Beneath Our Feet program, presented by Lehigh Valley Conservation District, is set for 3 p.m. June 23. Learn about all sorts of things you find in the ground.

This program is for curious elementary-aged students up to sixth grade. Dig for insects under rocks and rotted logs, and make a take-home fossil. Registration is required.

Paleontologists Mike and Roberta Straka will present their Dinosaur Adventure Show 6 p.m. June 23. Audience members will help dig up a real triceratops bone and help construct a dinosaur out of a large cut-out.

The library has many clubs that meet monthly.

The adult book club meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of each month. Come discuss what you’re currently reading.

The adult coloring club meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays.

A Good Yarn will meet 6 p.m. the third Tuesday for knitters, crocheters or other needle crafters.

The Teen Advisory Board meets 1:30 p.m. one Saturday a month for teens interested in volunteering at the library. Check the calendar for dates.
