Bath: Church plans Nov. 18 auction

Mountain View Wesleyan Church, 1001 Deemer Road, will be having a basket and gift item auction Nov. 18.

The doors open 5 p.m., and the auction will begin 6 p.m.

All proceeds benefit Heavenly Brightness School in Haiti, and a portion will go toward a mission trip to Hawaii in January 2023.

Bring a 12- or 20-gauge, or use a club gun. Shells are provided.

The kitchen will be open, and refreshments will be available.

The Bath Area Council of Churches’ community Thanksgiving service will be Nov. 22 at Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive.

The event features a free community meal 5:30-6:30 p.m. The worship service is 7 p.m., followed by dessert.
