Our dogs Lizzy and Daisy recently got baths. Neither of them is very enthusiastic about bathing so it often ends up being a wrestling match. I was passing through the hall as Matt was finishing up with Daisy. I looked her over and said to her, “Daisy, your tail’s not even wet!” Daisy glanced up at me and took off running down the stairs. She wasn’t hanging around for more! The next township column will be published Sept. 21; copy deadline is Sept. 15.
