Bath: Church collects for food bank

During the month of April, Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will help the Bath Area Food Bank by collecting canned soup and paper products.

Grocery store gift cards are needed for emergencies, preferably Ahart’s Market.

Anything you can give or donate at this time is much appreciated.

Donations may be dropped off in the bins by the downstairs parlor door, inside the side red door. Business hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Feel free to drop off items at your convenience. The inside door to the building itself will remain locked.

If you need assistance, call the church office at 610-837-9250.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 117 Washington St., asks for all cemetery items, such as flowers and candles, to be removed by April 30 for the cemetery cleanup.

Any items remaining after April 30 will be discarded.

Please note: According to the cemetery rules and regulations, no planting of bushes, trees or shrubs is allowed, and digging up the grass is prohibited.
