Moore Township: Rod, gun club hosts local band

Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, will be hosting the band Banned from the Ranch 7-10:30 p.m. Sept. 30. The event will be held outside under the pavilion.

Moore Township Athletic Association will hold its next monthly meeting 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4. The meeting will take place in the all-purpose room of Moore Elementary School, 2835 Mountain View Drive.

Christ United Church of Christ, Little Moore, 913 S. Mink Road, Danielsville, is having a fall bazaar 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 7. There will be a free goody bag given to the first 20 adults and five children. Guests will enjoy homemade baked goods, white elephant, handmade crafts and more.

The kitchen also will be open.

Also, Christ UCC is hosting an all-you-can-eat pork and sauerkraut dinner 3:30-6 p.m. Oct. 21.

Advance tickets are required and must be purchased by Oct. 8.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, is sponsoring a fall festival 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Oct. 7. The event will feature food, games, a Chinese auction, cake walk and barrel train rides.

There also will be a 2 p.m. hot dog-eating contest.

Moore Township invites residents to participate in Northampton County’s hazardous waste recycling, set for 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 14. The event will take place at Northampton Community College’s main campus, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem.
