The Governor Wolf Historical Society museum, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will be open Aug. 19 to the public from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with tours of the society’s campus offered.

The Bath museum, located in the Bath Borough building at Penn and Washington streets, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 19.

From noon to 8 p.m. Aug. 26, the Borough of Bath will hold its second annual Suds and Spuds street fair. The event takes place on Chestnut and Northampton streets.
Of course, there will be lots of food, mainly potatoes, and plenty of beer.
There will also be many activities and lots of fun for the kids, too!

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be having a blessing of the backpacks service Aug. 27. Bring your backpacks to church and have them blessed at either of the 9:30 a.m. services.
A continental breakfast for youth in grades 1-6 and their families will be held after the service.

Bath Farmers Market has welcomed some new vendors. Estelle’s Catering is a 35-year-old family business featuring sandwiches, salads and more, plus cold meals to heat and eat later.
The market also welcomes Hedrick Farm of Palmerton with fresh home-raised honey, beeswax candles and honey lip balm.
