A group of newcomers to the Continental Volleyball Conference swept the 2015 individual awards. Rutgers University-Newark, a new member to the league, took home Player and Coach of the Year while a freshman from Marymount University was named Rookie of the Year.

Northampton's Cody Chidsey is the 2015 CVC Player of the Year. Chidsey, a junior from Bath, ranked in the top ten during conference play in kills, kills per set, hitting percentage, solo blocks, points, and points per set.

He hit .441 overall and upped that to .509 during conference play; averaging 3.59 kills per set. Chidsey finished with 382 points this season, 191 during conference play. Chidsey finished with 16 double digit kill matches this season, including six straight matches at the end of the season as his team was chasing the CVC title.
