Did you ever wonder what happens at Christmas to less fortunate children in this community? If you would like to contribute toward gifts for kids who would normally go without seeing presents on Christmas morning, contact Quota of Northampton.
Quota members are again accepting contributions of either new, unwrapped gifts of your own choosing or a financial donation for the club's "elves" to shop with.
They will also operate a Christmas store for young clients of the Northampton Area Food Bank on Dec. 13. Each child will be able to pick out a gift for every family member at no charge. In addition to gifts for children, small gifts for adults and siblings are needed.
Last year, Quota was able to help more than 40 children in the Northampton Area School District have a wonderful holiday through the generous donations of individuals and local businesses.
Club members will arrange for the purchase, wrapping and delivery of gifts.
To contribute, call Judy at 610-264-9786; email Marian at marjer8@gmail.com; or fax Nikol at 610-262-3037.
