Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will hold a turkey raffle this Saturday.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The raffle is open to the public and is non-smoking.

Free draft beer, soda, chips and pretzels will be available for ticket holders.

Free turkey dinner platters will be served from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

Twenty five turkeys will be raffled throughout the evening. Various other meats, including sirloin steaks, strip steaks, chicken quarters, drumsticks and legs, pork sausages, chops and loins, hot dogs and slabs of bacon will also be raffled off as well.

There will be cash door prizes.

The Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., will serve brunch this Sunday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is open to the public and is non-smoking.

This is an all-you-can-eat buffet style with omelets made to order.

Buffet food consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, ham, home fries, toast, creamed chipped beef, French toast, crepes, fruit cocktail, various breakfast pastries, along with coffee, tea and orange juice. The bar will also be open.

Reservations are not mandatory but highly suggested.
