Borough leaf collection has begun. As in previous years, the public works department divides the borough into four sections and will attempt to pick up one section each day, unless there are other more pressing tasks to be addressed. If your leaves aren't cleared away one day, wait a few days before raking more to the curb so that parking spaces are not blocked unnecessarily. And for safety reasons, motorists should not park cars on top of raked leaf piles in the curb line.
If you have any questions, or if you would like to report that you have raked your property's leaves to the curb, call the borough office at 610-264-1504.

Many of those pretty snowflake lights that line borough streets during the holiday season are sponsored by local residents, some in memory or in honor of a friend or loved one.
Three snowflakes remain available for sponsorship by residents, nonresidents, former residents, families, organizations or businesses. A plastic plaque will be attached to a snowflake with the name of the sponsor.
For more information, call 610-264-1504 or email NCataCentennial@aol.com. This offer is presented by the North Catasauqua Betterment Committee
