The Catasauqua Garden Club will hold its next meeting Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

Linda Kortz will share holiday decorating ideas as she presents "bronze holiday decor."

The meeting starts 1 p.m. Have your items for judging in place so the meeting can start on time.

Friendly and curious garden guests are always welcome.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, Catasauqua, will host a baked chicken dinner Saturday, Nov. 15.

There will be two sittings at 4:15 and 6 p.m. The menu consists of baked chicken breasts, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, green beans, applesauce, homemade dessert bar and beverages.

No tickets will be sold at the door. The ticket deadline is Nov. 2.
