Assumption BVM Church will hold a breakfast Sunday, Oct. 26, 8:30 a.m.-noon, in the social hall, East 22nd Street and Washington Avenue.

The menu includes French toast; pancakes; scrambled eggs or omelet; ham, sausage or bacon; hash browns; toast; juice, coffee and tea.

The borough will hold trick-or-trick night Friday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m.

Residents who want to give out candy to trick-or-treaters are encouraged to turn on their porch lights during that time.

The Northampton Area Food Bank will hold a coin toss Saturday, Nov. 1, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., on Held Drive.

Volunteers are needed to help with the event.

Northampton VFW Post 4714, 1204 Main St., will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, Oct. 27, 6 p.m.

The annual Northampton Area Food Bank Halloween walkathon will be held rain, snow or shine Saturday, Oct. 25. Registration begins 8 a.m. at the food bank on Canal Street and the walk begins 9 a.m.

This is a 4-1/2-mile course from the Canal Park Heritage Walkway to Municipal Park and back.

Those planning to participate are encouraged to wear a costume and bring along friends, kids and pets.

Refreshments will be served.
