An oldies dance benefiting the Lehigh Valley Sweet Adelines Chorus will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, 7-10 p.m., at Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, West 21st Street.
The New Dimensions will provide the entertainment. Food and a cash bar will be available.

The Lehigh Valley Sweet Adelines Chorus is an award-winning, all-women a cappella chorus. With a 55-year history, it is an affiliated chapter of Sweet Adelines International. The group is comprised of women of all ages who are students, professionals, community volunteers, retirees and mothers raising families. LVC preserves the unique American musical art form of barbershop and performs an engaging repertoire of songs that includes Broadway tunes, old standards, pop music and more.

The Siegfried Railroad Station, home of the Northampton Area Historical Society, will be open to visitors for the last time this year on Sunday, Oct. 19, 1-4 p.m. The station is located on West 21st Street.
Special displays this year include the J.J. Kleppinger exhibit, a World War I exhibit and a miscellaneous exhibit featuring World War II ration stamps. Kleppinger was a butcher in Northampton in the early 1900s.
There is no charge to visit the station, but donations to the restoration fund are always accepted. The roof of the turret was replaced this year with money from the fund.
New members are always welcome.

Fall children's programs at the Northampton Area Public Library, 1615 Laubach Ave., will be held Oct. 28 through Dec. 11.
Wonderful Ones, for children ages 10 months to 2 years, will be held Thursdays, 10-10:45 a.m.
Toddler Storytime, for 2-year-olds, will be held Tuesdays, 11-11:20 a.m., or Wednesdays, 10-10:20 a.m.
Creative Preschoolers Storytime, for ages 3 and up, will be held Tuesdays, 10-10:45 a.m., or Wednesdays, 10:30-11:15 a.m.
Family Toddler/ Preschool Storytime will be held Tuesday evenings, 6:30-7 p.m.
The Storycraft program, for children in kindergarten, first or second grade, will be offered Thursdays, 6-7 p.m.
A family Halloween craft party is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 22, 3:30 p.m.

The annual Northampton Area Food Bank Halloween walkathon will be held rain, snow or shine Saturday, Oct. 25.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the food bank on Canal Street; the walk begins at 9 a.m. This is a 4-1/2-mile course from the Canal Park Heritage Walkway to Municipal Park and back.
Those planning to participate are encouraged to wear a costume and bring along friends, kids and pets.
Refreshments will be served.
