· A reported dwelling fire at 3146 Terrace Circle, found to be the main electrical panel on fire in the basement, brought out Stations 36, 37 and 38, 12:06 a.m.

· Stations 36, 37 and 38 responded to a reported gas leak behind the kitchen stove at 3327 Thomas St., 11:02 a.m.

· A fire alarm at 1029 Sixth St., found to be a cooking accident, brought out Stations 36, 37 and 38, 2:20 p.m.

Oct. 22

· A motor vehicle crash with a spill on Lehigh Avenue near Jazz Circle brought out Stations 35 and 37, 5:51 a.m.

· Station 35 Fire Police assisted police with traffic control at Fullerton Avenue and Pershing Boulevard, 7:03 a.m.

· Unit 3501 assisted police with a traffic light at South Church and Main streets, 7:40 a.m.

· Station 35 Fire Police assisted police with traffic control at MacArthur Road and Mickely Road North due to a power failure, 11:15 a.m.

· Stations 36 and 39 helped rescue a deer that jumped into a swimming pool at 5443 Prospect St., 2:24 p.m.

· A pedestrian hit on Schadt Avenue near the Whitehall Post Office brought out Stations 35 and 37, 4:06 p.m.

· A fire at Wendy's Restaurant, 1475 MacArthur Road, reported to be a fire in the wall, brought out Stations 36, 37 and 38, 5:17 p.m.

Oct. 23

· Station 35 Fire Police assisted police with traffic control near Eberhart's Garage, 4344 Main St., 10:37 a.m.

· Stations 35, 36 and 37 responded to 1213 Catasauqua Road where a dryer was disconnected without shutting the gas off, 12:51 p.m.

Oct. 24

· A fire alarm with smoke caused by candles at 800 Maryland Circle brought out Stations 36 and 37, 11:14 a.m.

· An automatic alarm at Hess Jewelers, 3690 Lehigh St., set off by popcorn, brought out Stations 37 and 38, 11:19 a.m.

· Stations 35, 36, 39 and 40 responded to a motor vehicle crash with injuries, spill and rescue with a pole down at 4823 Main St., 5:33 p.m.

· Station 37 on standby for the Allentown Fire Department for mutual aid, 6:36 p.m.

· A fire alarm at 3 Maryland Circle brought out Stations 36, 37 and 38, 7 p.m.

Oct. 25

· A fire alarm at Kmart, 2520 MacArthur Road, found to be set off by a workman, brought out Stations 36 and 39, 5:50 p.m.

· Stations 36, 39 and 40 checked for a gas odor inside of Burlington Coat Factory, MacArthur Road, found to be a gas leak, 8:09 p.m.

· An apartment building fire at Helfrich Springs Apartments, 900 Mickley Road, with fire in the V building, spread to the T building and eventually took the roof off 22 apartments. Worked with Whitehall's four stations and eventually got mutual aid from numerous mutual aid departments. No injuries were reported. Stations 36, 37, 38, 39, 2, 5, 11, 15, 22, 23, 33 and Northampton Fire Department responded with Stations 12 and 40 on standby, 11:18 p.m.

Oct. 26

· Stations 36 and 39 responded to a reported odor of diesel fuel in the area of MacArthur Road and Grape Street (unfounded), 7:37 p.m.

· Stations 36, 39 and 40 responded to a possible carbon monoxide problem at 5270 West Coplay Road, found that the gas was shut off, 3:15 a.m.

· The fire investigation team investigated a fire at the Helfrich Spring Apartments, 900 Mickley Road, 9:37 a.m.

· A motor vehicle crash with a spill of antifreeze at Fullerton Avenue and Pershing Boulevard brought out Station 36, 9:40 a.m.

· Stations 39 and 40 responded to a smoke detector sounding at 5021 Foxdale Drive, 9:41 a.m.

· A motor vehicle crash with a spill at Fullerton Avenue and Mundy Lane brought out Stations 35 and 37, 5:50 p.m.
