The food bank operated by the Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association still has food available, but could always use more staples such as tuna, cereal, jams and other items.

The food bank is open the second Tuesday of every month in the morning. Clients are provided a month's supply of different food.

The allotment is based on the size of the recipient's family. Scout groups, churches and mail carrier drives play a major role in keeping the shelves full.
