Firefighters from Lower Macungie and Trexlertown fire departments responded to a reported structure fire at a location on Hamilton Boulevard June 28.
Lehigh County 911 reported a structure fire at discount retailer Ocean State Job Lot in the 7000 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township. The initial dispatch reported smoke coming from an A/C vent and the odor of something burning.
Fire crews used aerial ladders from Lower Macungie and Trexlertown to gain access to the rear section of the roof.
Firefighters located the source of the smoke as coming from one of the A/C units on the roof.
A crew from Lower Macungie ambulance remained on standby at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
