Diane L. Cesanek, 73, of Allen Township, died Oct. 29, 2026. She was the wife of Bernard Cesanek for 53 years.

Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Mildred (Muschlitz) Silfies.

In her early years, she worked at Newhart Foods, Coplay, and Cross Country Clothing, Northampton. Before retiring, she worked as a secretary for Blue Cross Blue Shield for more than 20 years.

She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jeanette Cesanek-Narscio and husband Charles; a son, Dr. Paul and wife Kelly; four grandchildren, Zackary and fiancée Emmalee Maikits, Mitchell, Mason and Miles; a brother, Timothy Silfies and wife Heather; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a calling time 8:30-9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Nov. 7 at the church, 2181 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
