John Ritter, 81, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 28, 2026. He was the son of the late John and Margaret (Vidumsky) Ritter and the husband of the late Grace A. Ritter for 52 before her passing in 2018.

He was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic HS and spent most of his working life as a plumber,

He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved, and nothing meant more to him than spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by: daughters Laurie Venable and her husband, Ray, Cynthia Ritter, and Kristen VanZandt and her husband Tygh; his son John Ritter and his wife, Kim; his sisters Margaret Vresics and Cathy Spitzig and her husband Ned; grandchildren Nicole (James), Brian (Auria), John (Brittany), Evan, Logan, Mason, Roman, Tygh and Lauryn; as well as great-grandchildren Josie, Jack, Cooper and Emma. He was predeceased by his sister, Jean Fereno.
