Rondell K. McNeil, 50, of Bethlehem, is charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors following an investigation by Bethlehem’s Special Operations Unit.
Officers executed a search warrant of McNeil’s Eighth Avenue home on Sept. 11, while he was detained during a traffic stop. Police found crack cocaine on his person and in his home, as well as marijuana, both in quantities consistent with distribution. They also found scales and packaging.
A police K-9 searching the residence alerted officers to several locations of concern in a bedroom. They discovered two firearms - McNeil was prohibited from owning guns due to a prior conviction - and seven suspected improvised explosive devices in the bedroom.
McNeil is charged with possession with intent to deliver and other drug-related charges, two counts of possession of firearms, seven counts of weapons of mass destruction and one count of risking catastrophe.
He was arraigned and bail was set at $100,000.
