LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Northeast Community Center hosts Trunk or Treat event

Skeletons, ghosts and ghouls were seen at the Northeast Community Center for Trunk or Treat Oct. 22. Over 40 community partners participated in this event that provides local families with children a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treat.

Community partners decorate their cars, (and themselves) as they distribute candy and affiliated information from their parked cars. Children move from car to car (or trunk to trunk) gathering their candy collection. Local families, human service providers, businesses, police and fire departments enthusiastically participate yearly.

Over 100 local children, and their parents, came to the center for Trunk or Treat. Perfect fall weather helped make this a memorable Halloween tradition.
