Officers responded to a report of a missing adult in the borough. The individual was located.

Two juveniles were arrested for theft by deception and receiving stolen property after police responded to a theft-related incident.

An alarm brought police to the 100 block of Coplay Street.

Traffic stops were conducted on North Second, Chestnut and Hokendauqua streets.

A report of harassment was investigated.

Traffic stops were conducted at North Front and Chestnut streets.

AUG. 22

A suspicious vehicle at Saylor Park brought police to the scene.

Officers arrested an individual for driving under the influence during a traffic stop on Chestnut Street.

An individual was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon without a license during a traffic stop on the Coplay-Northampton Bridge.

A welfare check was conducted in the 100 block of Coplay Street.

Traffic stops were conducted on Chestnut and Front streets.

AUG. 23

Officers arrested Antwuan Johnson for simple assault while responding to a reported simple assault in the unit block of South Second Street. A records check revealed Johnson had an extradition warrant for his arrest in another state.

The department assisted an outside law enforcement agency with a DUI-related traffic stop, resulting in an arrest.

AUG. 24

A domestic incident in the 100 block of North Second Street was reported.

Traffic stops were conducted on South Second and Chestnut streets.

AUG. 25

Police investigated a report of a neighbor dispute in the 100 block of Coplay Street.

Charges are pending in a narcotics investigation following a traffic stop in the 200 block of Chestnut Street.
