Dennis Fred Kantz, 77, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 26, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. He was born in Fountain Hill to the late Emil W. and Mary (Bogar) Kantz, and was the husband of Elizabeth “Betty” J. (Swegel) Kantz for 56 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp as a welder for 30 years.

He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed building models.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by; sons Christopher R. Kantzand his wife Alicia of Fountain Hill, Jared D. Kantz of Nazareth, John D. Kantz of Nazareth; brother: Dean A. Kantz and his wife Karen of Bethlehem; grandchildren Alicia Kantz, Michael Kantz, Brittany Leister, Cassidy Rhoda; great-grandchildren: Dylan, Parker, Jaylee, Emmett; and niece Tiffany A. Kantz of Bethlehem.
