The men’s breakfast group of St. John’s United Church of Christ is next scheduled to meet 8:30 a.m. July 11 at Hamilton Family Restaurant, 2027 Hamilton St., Allentown. Cliff Herring will be the guest speaker.

Come join the Snowball Mountain Challenge Vacation Bible School 6-8 p.m. July 13-17 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St. The VBS offers a snowy, winter sports adventure centered around Philippians 4:13 and includes Bible stories, crafts, snacks and music.

The closing program will take place at the worship service set for 9:30 a.m. July 19. A family luncheon will be held following the worship service.

Those who register early will receive a free T-shirt.

St. John’s UCC’s Ladies PEEPS (Positive Extraordinary Prayerful Sisters) will be meeting 7 p.m. July 21 in Fox Hall. Light refreshments will be served.

St. John’s UCC is collecting backpacks and school supplies for Whitehall-Coplay School District students. A list of items was included in the July newsletter. A shopping list and a collection bin can be found on the table in the coatroom area next to the sanctuary for you to bring in your donations.

In addition, there is also a drive-by drop-off scheduled at the pavilion 6-8 p.m. July 23.
