Rosemary Dougherty-Kern, 76, died June 24, 2026. She is survived by her companion, Donald J. Potak, of more than 14 years.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mamie (Kratzer) Dougherty.

She was a graduate of Catasauqua High School.

She was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer and spouse Chad Wirth; five grandchildren, Merisa, Jeffery, Kylee, Michael and Aryianna; two nieces, Yvonne and Christine; a nephew, Mark; and many great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Bridgid DalPezzo; a brother, Thomas Dougherty; and a sister, Kathleen Knecht.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home, 1064 Fifth St., North Catasauqua, 18032 to help defray funeral expenses.
