Sonia Italia Leon, 80, of Bethlehem, died April 3, 2026 at home. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, she was the daughter of the late Arturo Leon and Eusebia Murillo.

Sonia worked for General Motors Corporation until retiring. Sonia retired at the age of 50 to care for her grandchildren. She loved to watch novellas on TV and play with her grandchildren. She was obsessed with cleanliness and house chores.

She is survived by: daughter Cynthia Domenech Lopez; grandsons Edward Eleziah, Luis Alfonso; granddaughter Heaven Cynthia; a great-grandson Eleziah and great-granddaughter Xoah. She was predeceased by her 13 siblings.
