Eugene C. White Sr., 88, of Bethlehem, died March 16, 2026, in hospice. He was the son of Clark White and Jean (Mateer) White, and the husband of Dolores (Pritulsky) White for 61 years.

He was a graduate of Liberty HS and served in the U.S. Army in Germany in the 1960s.

He worked in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for the US Forest Service, the Bethlehem Steel Corp., and then as a bus driver for the Bethlehem Area School District.

He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. His memberships included Bethlehem American Legion Post 379, Bethlehem Masonic Lodge 283, Masonic Christmas City High Twelve Club, and the Wanderers Athletic Association. He volunteered with Boutique at the Rink, parental leadership within YMCA Indian Guides and Northeast Little League.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by; sons Eugene Jr. (Eug) and his wife Patti (Hedden) White of Nazareth, Jeffrey White of Alburtis, Douglas White and fiancée Georgia Vavoularis of Palm Harbor, Fla.; granddaughter Kirby (White) Fenstermacher and her husband Justin Fenstermacher; and great-grandson Ford Fenstermacher; step-grandchildren Alex and Lauren Sassaman, and Kyan Morgen. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles White.
