Lorraine Edna Snyder, 96, died May 17, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Mount Carmel, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Earl Rowe and Ida (Becker) Rowe. She was the wife of the late Elwood P. Snyder.

She was a Mount Carmel HS graduate. For over 25 years until her retirement, she greeted customers with a smile as a cashier at George’s Foodliner.

She was a charter member of the Church of the Manger, Bethlehem.

She is survived by a son, Paul Elwood of Bethlehem; a daughter, Debra Lynne Correll of Gloucester, North Carolina; and a grandson, Michael D. Correll.
