Frederick Kline Of Allied Personnel Services

Frederick “Fred” Kline, 91, died March 9, 2024. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Herman and Arlene (Fritchman) Kline. He was the husband of the late Sadie O. Kline.

He was a 1950 graduate of Bethlehem Technical School. He continued his education at Lafayette College.

He was in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Military Police.

He worked at Bethlehem Steel from 1950 to 1984 in the IT department.

He used his computer and analytical skill at Allied Personnel Services, his wife’s company. After 22 years, in 2016, he took his second retirement.

He was involved in his Pocono community, Conashaugh Lakes. He was a board member and was a president, vice-president and treasurer. He was on the design committee and reviewed and approved builders’ blueprints.

He bowled with the Bethlehem Steel league for more than 55 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen MacDonald and husband John; a son, Ronald Kline and wife Susan; and sister, Nancy Mitchell.

He was predeceased by a sister, Doris Rice.
