State police at Frackville are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered on Wednesday.

Police said they were dispatched at 11:20 a.m. to the area of 665 Lincoln Avenue, West Mahanoy Township, where the body was discovered in the area of Central Highway Oil.

Officers of the barracks’ criminal investigation unit and the Forensic Services Unit of Troop L, Reading, were called in to investigate the death, as was the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.

Police said there is no threat to the public regarding this incident.
