The Verve Pipe performs a free concert, 9:30 p.m. July 31, Air Products Americaplatz Stage at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks, at Musikfest 2026.

The 43rd annual Musikfest, July 30 to Aug. 9, is held on the north side and south side of Bethlehem.

More than 500 free concerts will be presented by 300 performers on 15 stages.

The lineup for the 11 ticketed performances by headliners on Wind Creek Steel Stage At PNC Plaza is: July 30, Grupo Niche; July 31, Russell Dickerson; Aug. 1, John Mulaney; Aug. 2, Third Eye Blind; Aug. 3, Train; Aug. 4, “Weird Al” Yankovic; Aug. 5, T.I., DaBaby; Aug. 6, Bailey Zimmerman; Aug. 7, Parker McCollum; Aug. 8, Yellowcard, Taking Back Sunday, and Aug. 9, AJR.

The announcement of The Verve Pipe concert was made in a July 14 press release from Musikfest.

The Verve Pipe is an American alternative rock band from East Lansing, Mich., formed in 1992 by Brian Vander Ark, vocals, guitar; Brad Vander Ark, bass; Brian Stout, guitar, and Donny Brown, drums.

Their song, “Photograph,” from the group’s platinum-selling album, “Villains,” charted at No. 53 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Their hit, “The Freshman,” went to No. 5.

The group’s studio albums include: “I’ve Suffered a Head Injury,” 1992; “Pop Smear,” 1993; “Villains,” 1996; “The Verve Pipe,” 1999; “Underneath,” 2001; “A Family Album,” 2009; “Are We There Yet?,” 2013; “Overboard,” 2014; “Parachute,” 2017; “Threads,” 2021, and “Reconciled,” 2025.

The band’s concert lineup is expected to be: Brian Vander Ark, lead, backing vocals, guitar; Brad Vander Ark, bass, backing vocals; Channing Lee, lead, backing vocals, keyboards; Lou Musa, guitar, and Daine Hammerle, drums.

The Musikfest 2026 poster artist is by painter and illustrator Doug Boehm.

”The 2026 design holds added significance as the nation celebrates ‘America 250,’ the semiquincentennial of the United States,” states the press release.

“Boehm’s artwork reflects the joy of Musikfest and the unifying power of music during this historic moment,” the press release states.

According to the Musikfest press release, 1,449,000 attended Musikfest 2025.

ArtsQuest states that its mission is “to provide access to exceptional artistic, cultural and educational experiences, using arts and culture as drivers of economic development in our urban communities.

ArtsQuest has a regional economic impact estimated at $193 million in 2025, according to the press release.
