Drug possession

An 18-year-old male, of Pennsburg, allegedly was found to have a small amount of marijuana when troopers responded to the crash of the vehicle the male was riding in as a back seat passenger in the 6600 block of Kings Highway South, Upper Milford Township, Nov. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

An 18-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly was found to have a small amount of marijuana when troopers found a vehicle parked with its lights off in the area of the intersection of Colonial Drive and South Cedarbrook Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:36 p.m. Nov. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft of vehicle

Investigators learned four all-terrain vehicles were removed from Blackmans Cycle, Upper Milford Township, after an ATV was found in the area of Chestnut Street and Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, 7:14 a.m. Nov. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The recovered ATV and three others were removed from the retailer at approximately 2 a.m. Nov. 14, according to authorities. Thieves removed a 2022 blue ATV, a 2022 black ATV, a 2023 green ATV and a 2023 black ATV.

A vehicle was removed from a driveway along Rosewood Lane, Lower Macungie Township, between 9:15 p.m. Nov. 18 and 6 a.m. Nov. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was later located unoccupied; however, items were missing from the vehicle including credit cards from Discover, Costco, Amazon Prime, Target, TJ Maxx, Victoria’s Secret, JCPenney, Macy’s and Kohl’s, a key fob valued at $100, eye drops and a driver’s license. One of the credit cards was used to attempt to make a purchase, according to authorities.

Criminal mischief

Two juveniles allegedly attempted to enter a park building at Lenape Park, Lenape Park Road/Kings Highway South, Upper Milford Township, 3:29 p.m. Nov. 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft from

vehicle

Approximately $3,000 in tools were removed from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 7400 block of Iron Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 11 p.m. Nov. 7 and 7 a.m. Nov. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A Pennsylvania license plate was removed from a vehicle parked at Mechanics Plus Towing, 4701 Colebrook Ave., Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The theft was reported Nov. 11.

Harassment

A female allegedly threatened to shoot another person after an argument about holiday decorations escalated at a location on Oak Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. No firearm was displayed or found at the residence, although the female allegedly admitted to threatening to shoot the other person, according to authorities.

A 38-year-old male, of Horsham, allegedly shoved a security guard after he was asked to leave a business at 1160 S. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:47 a.m. Nov. 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A woman allegedly threw a lighter, striking another person, at Urban Air Adventure Park, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 2:41 p.m. Nov. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 31-year-old male, of Topton, allegedly threatened to fatally harm a person from Macungie at a location in the 5500 block of Indian Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:09 p.m. Nov. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Three males allegedly got out of their vehicle and yelled and cursed at an Emmaus motorist at the intersection of Saucon Circle and Chestnut Hill Church Road, Lower Milford Township, 3:42 p.m. Oct. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Authorities described the confrontation as a road rage incident.

A 47-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly struck another person in the 1500 block of Kaitlyn Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:01 p.m. Nov. 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Authorities responded to the address due to an open 911 line.

Theft by

deception

An Upper Milford Township resident learned his personal information was used to attempt to apply for a bank loan for $18,855, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The bank denied the application and alerted the resident. The incident was reported Oct. 14.

A resident of Upper Milford Township learned her personal information was used to open a fraudulent credit card account and transfer $2,000 from her bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 9.

A Lower Macungie Township resident learned her personal information was used to open a utility account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 17 at the state police barracks, Schantz Road.

A Lower Macungie Township resident learned someone attempted to transfer $9,790 from the resident’s bank account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The bank denied the transfer and alerted the resident. The incident was reported Oct. 16.

A resident of Knoll Road, Lower Milford Township, discovered his Social Security number was fraudulently used to obtain loans from three separate financial institutions and file fraudulent 2021 tax information, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 16 and the Federal Trade Commission was notified. Credit activity and accounts were frozen and there was no monetary loss to the resident.

A resident of Riverbend Road, Lower Macungie Township, was notified by her employer that an unknown person had claimed her unemployment benefits between April and October, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The loss was approximately $12,000, according to authorities.

Scam

A Lower Macungie Township resident was swindled out of $7,500 after she was contacted by a male who explained her grandson was involved in a motor vehicle crash and needed the money for bail Nov. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The caller next pretended to be the grandson and insisted the money was needed for bail. The resident was instructed to put $7,500 in cash in an envelope and to write “ABC Bondsman” and “First Time Offender” on the envelope and a messenger would come to pick up the envelope. The messenger came shortly after the call ended. A call requesting $7,000 was received Nov. 21. The Lower Macungie Township resident refused to pay the second request and told the caller to contact her son.
