Blood drive honors Wayne Leibensperger

Wayne Leibensperger was an avid blood donor who donated blood faithfully every eight weeks. Sadly, on March 17, 2014, the 21-year-old died in a car accident. Since that time, blood drive organizer and mom, Deana Leibensberger, has been holding blood drives in her son's memory. These drives have resulted in 772 units of blood. Donations using Wayne's code (code 7447) can be made at any time and have resulted in the collection of 2,133 units to date. Deana is extremely thankful to Jerusalem Evangelical Church of Eastern Salisbury for the continued use of their facility.
