Zephyrs have a new softball coach

Whitehall High School is proud to announce the hiring of Jeff Vivian as its next head coach in Softball.

Coach Vivian has been a part of our softball program for three years and embedded in the softball programs in our community for over ten years. On the high school level, Coach Vivian has been a junior varsity coach at Whitehall for the past three seasons. He has had the opportunity to work with some outstanding coaches in Ed Stinner and Blake Morgan and will continue to work with those gentlemen in varying capacities.

“We are pleased to be able to hire Jeff Vivian as our next softball coach at Whitehall. We had a number of quality applicants, because of the importance of softball in our community. Coach Vivian stood out among those applicants. Coach Vivian is looking to add to the stability and success that our program now has by surrounding himself with members of our recent coaching staffs.

“His priority is to continue to have the success that we have had in recent years and to continue to play the game the right way, having success with respect and dignity. Coach Vivian is immersed in our softball community and coaches the game the right way. We, at Whitehall, are looking forward to his leadership and are more than eager for him to put his own stamp on the program,” said Whitehall Athletic Director, Bob Hartman.
