Bertha L. Snell, 91, of Macungie, died Oct. 27, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frederick R. Snell. Born in Perry Township, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late W. Edward and Cleo (Downing) Fox.

She worked as a waitress for many years at Macungie Fire Company, Brookside Country Club and the Mercantile Club of Emmaus.

She was a member of Solomon’s U.C.C., Macungie and the Macungie Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a son, Frederick, of Mertztown; daughters, Becky L. Coyle, of Emmaus, Holly L. Gaugler, of Zionsville and Tina B. Helfrich, of Macungie; sisters, Nancy Hoffman, of Helena, Ohio and Betty Hoffman, of Fremont, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Toby; a brother, Edward I. Fox; sisters, Phyllis Jennings and Wyneta Dauterman.
