Operation Rudolf: Donation drive continues until Dec. 3

Elevate Foundation is partnering with Catasauqua Police Department and local area churches to present Operation Rudolf for families in need.

This donation drive is underway and continues through Dec. 3 and will benefit Catasauqua area youth in need.

Items needed include new winter coats, sweatshirts, socks, gloves, snacks, candy canes, toys, books in Spanish and English, etc.

The local churches have focus items to better keep track of donations. This does not mean you can’t donate other items at those spots.

• Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., focus item: blankets

• Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., focus item: toys

• Revolution Church, 5 Race St., focus item: hats, gloves and socks

• St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., focus item: candy canes, small toys, snacks, etc.

Donations can also be dropped off at Catasauqua Police Department, 90 Bridge St.

For additional items needed, there is an Amazon wishlist, amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/38AR2G1F5G3BN. These items can be dropped off at the police station.

Pickup for families will be 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 18 at Presbyterian Church and Holy Trinity. More details are forthcoming.

If you are a family in need and would like to register your child to receive warm winter clothes and other items, fill out the Google form - forms.gle/nKgVEyyk4VGPrh6Y8.
