Rape arrest

Easton police arrested Clement Swaby, 34, of Bethlehem, March 5 following an investigation after he broke into the home of two young women and ordered them at knife-point to perform sexual acts.

Collaboration with state police Forensic Services DNA Division connected Swaby to a May 19, 2020, incident of the same kind under investigation in Bethlehem.

Already in jail for the Easton crime, Swaby is also charged with rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, burglary, possessing an instrument of crime and threats.
