University of Alabama

Dietz graduates

McKenzie Dietz, of Whitehall, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama. UA awarded some 2,257 degrees during its fall commencement Dec. 12, 2020.

Bloomsburg University

Levan named to dean’s list

Taylor Levan, an accounting major from Whitehall, was one of the more than 2,200 students named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Full-time students with a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher in 12 or more semester hours of course work, for which a grade or grades are received, are named to the dean’s list.

Bloomsburg University is one of 14 universities in Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. The university serves approximately 8,600 students, offering comprehensive programs of study in the colleges of education, business, liberal arts and science and technology.

Cedar Crest College

Dean’s list is announced

Cedar Crest College announced the students named to the fall 2020 dean’s list. The dean’s list recognizes students who have earned a GPA of 3.65 or higher in the academic semester.

York College

Students earn dean’s list

More than 1,600 students were named to the dean’s list at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Lock Haven University

Woomer earns degree

Corey Woomer, of Northampton, graduated with a Master of Science in sport science: sport administration from Lock Haven University during a Dec. 12, 2020, virtual graduation ceremony.

Albright College

Rodgers earns dean’s list

Cameron Rodgers, of Northampton, has been named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Albright College. A graduate of Northampton Area High School, Rodgers majored in business administration: economics and finance during the fall semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, Albright students must earn a GPA of 3.75 or better while taking a minimum of three graded courses during a semester.

Founded in 1856, Albright College is a diverse community of learners cultivating integrity, curiosity, connection and resilience. The college’s flexible curriculum encourages students to combine and cross majors to create individualized academic programs. Quinnipiac University

Sherwin earns dean’s list

Morgan Sherwin, of Coplay, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester at Quinnipiac University. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.

Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. The university enrolls 7,000 full-time undergraduate and 3,000 graduate and part-time students in 110 degree programs through its schools of business, communications, education, engineering, health sciences, law, medicine, nursing and the College of Arts and Sciences. Quinnipiac is recognized by U.S. News & World Report and Princeton Review’s The Best 385 Colleges. The Chronicle of Higher Education has named Quinnipiac among the Great Colleges to Work For.

Ithaca College

Mullen named to dean’s list

Ithaca College student Morgan Mullen, of Cherryville, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester.
