The Wild West Scholastic book fair will continue through March 6. The event will be offered both in person and virtually through a 360 online shop.

All book-only online orders exceeding $25 will receive free shipping.

Students will be able to make in-person purchases during their Library Expressive scheduled times; online students will have an opportunity to shop in person March 1-5.

Kindergarten registration for Sheckler Elementary School’s 2021-22 school year is now open. Eligible children must live within the boundaries of Catasauqua Area School District and be turning 5 years old before Sept. 1.

Both remote and in-person learning for all five school days are available options.

Sheckler Elementary is looking to hire a noncertified instructional aide. The main responsibility will be to provide assistance and support to classroom teachers in the delivery of the board-approved curriculum.

The workday consists of seven hours of paid work time and 30 minutes of unpaid/unassigned lunch.
