Spring classes begin Jan. 25

Spring classes begin Jan. 25 at Northampton Community College, and there is still time to enroll. Visit NCC’s enrollment centers at Bethlehem or Monroe campuses, or online, for Saturday registration events Jan. 23 from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Whether you come to campus or join in virtually, you can talk to an advisor, get your questions about financial aid answered, and register for spring classes. Dual enrollment offered

High school students can join an NCC virtual dual enrollment information session at the 10 a.m. or 5 p.m.; Northampton Community (NCC) Jan. 27, Feb. 1, 12 p.m. or 6 p.m.; Feb. 11, 10 a.m. or 4 p.m.

Students will discover why NCC’s Dual Enrollment Program is a cost-effective way to jump start their college career and earn transferable credits toward a future degree.

The information sessions will cover everything students need to know about dual enrollment, like the benefits, costs, application process, how to register for classes and scholarship opportunities. If you are a current high school student taking college prep, honors/AP or career/technical coursework, don’t miss out on the chance to get all of your questions answered!

NCC presents Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow Feb. 2

Northampton Community College’s Art Department and the Dunning Gallery will present Jamaican-American performance artist Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow at 11 a.m. Feb. 2. She will share videos and discuss the history of her Junkanooakome project. There will be a walk-through of her studio residency in-progress works at the Triangle Workshop in Brooklyn, New York..

RN/LPN reactivation/reviews return Jan. 25

NCC is offering an RN/LPN Reactivation/Review program designed to review basic nursing knowledge and incorporate information on more recent technological advancements. The classes will be from 6 to 10 p.m. on Mondays from Jan. 25 to May 3 at the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St. There are fees.
