The Great Allentown Fair Association holds Feast the Fair event

By LOU WHEELAND

Special to The Press

Though The Great Allentown Fair was canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the most popular food stands were invited to set up in the parking lot near Ag Hall to participate in Feast the Fair.

The usual bustling crowd found at the fair wasn’t on hand, but the vendors did enjoy seeing some of their best customers come to taste those unique flavors only found at a fair such as The Great Allentown Fair.

Kevin Bissinger, owner, Bissinger's Concessions, Bloomsburg, was at Feast the Fair with his family making fresh apple and peach dumplings. Bissinger's was a top finisher in the Allentown Fair's new food stand choice in recent years.
