Bath: Thanksgiving Eve service to be held at Covenant church

Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive, will be hosting the Bath Area Council of Churches Thanksgiving Eve service Nov. 22 for a celebration of giving thanks. The service begins 7 p.m. with special music.

Choirs from all area churches will join in praise.

The Bath tree lighting will take place 6 p.m. Nov. 25 at Monocacy Creek Park.

Members and volunteers of Governor Wolf Historical Society will be holding the 37th annual Christmas house tour Dec. 2.

The tour features seven private historic homes in Bath and the surrounding countryside. The theme for this year’s tour is “Coverlets - A Warm Christmas.”

Tickets are for sale the day of the tour at the society’s historic site, 6600 Jacksonville Road, three miles north of Route 22, between Bethlehem and Bath.

Klecknersville Ranger Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, will be holding an indoor flea market 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 3.

Bath Drugs, 310 S. Walnut St., is now giving walk-in flu shots. No appointment is necessary. You must be 9 years and older for a flu vaccine.
