The Governor Wolf Historical Society will hold its monthly tavern night 7-10 p.m. Oct. 13 at the society’s campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township. Doors open 6:30 p.m.
Highlights of the event include live music, Colonial craftsmen and spirit tastings in the candlelit ambience of three historic buildings.
Enjoy the Celtic sounds of Seasons in the historic Ralston-McKeen House, while the piano stylings of Steve Meyers will be featured in the 1785 Wolf Academy.
The event is BYOB. Light refreshments will be provided.

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 8142 Valley View Road, Seemsville, will hold a variety bingo 1 p.m. Oct. 22. Doors open 11:30 a.m.
Seating is for ticket holders only.

Allen Township Fire Department will hold its annual Thanksgiving filling sale 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 18.
