The City of Bethlehem has announced the Fourth of July city center and East Church Street area activities.

The Bethlehem Municipal Band will perform a free concert 7:30 p.m., featuring patriotic music and old favorites, at the City Center Plaza.

The annual fireworks display will begin about 9 p.m. July 4 from Sand Island. The rain date will be July 5.

Sand Island east will be closed beginning at noon July 4 to facilitate fireworks preparations.
