Bath: Emmanuel’s to hold dinner

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be holding a meatloaf/macaroni and cheese dinner 6-7 p.m. May 12 in the fellowship hall. Chicken nuggets and fingers also will be available.

A freewill offering will be taken, and all proceeds will benefit the youth group going to the national gathering in Houston, Texas.

Bath Farmers Market will hold its opening day May 19 at Keystone Park in the borough, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be returning and new vendors!

The museum at Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will be open to the public 1-3 p.m. May 20. Tours of the society’s campus will be offered.

The Bath museum, located in the Bath Borough building, Penn and Washington streets, will be open to the public 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 20.

During the month of May, Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church will help Bath Area Food Bank by collecting peanut butter, shampoo and soap.

Grocery cards (preferably Ahart’s) are needed for emergencies.

Please drop off all gift cards in an envelope marked “food bank” on the church secretary’s desk or give it to one of the pastors.

Please note: The food bank is no longer accepting tomato soup, Jell-O or pudding.
