Bath: Market hosts appreciation day

Bath Farmers Market will host a customer appreciation day 3-7 p.m. Sept. 16. Guests will be offered free snow cones, and the first 10 guests at the market booth will receive a free T-shirt. A variety of colors and sizes are available.

Plus, this week, Atomic Hogs Pit BBQ will return with pulled pork, smoked ribs, Texas-style brisket and chicken platters with sides of cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, cornbread or baked beans.

Voight & Evans will perform live music at the gazebo.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St., will be holding its annual fall festival and bake raffle noon-8 p.m. Sept. 17.

Bath Social Hall, 135 S. Walnut St., will present “The Bag Lady” 8 p.m. Sept. 17. Doors open 7 p.m.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, Route 946, will be holding its fall festival 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 24.

There will be a Chinese auction, face painting, a barrel train ride, cake walk, beer area, hay rides, games and prizes for all ages, Lehigh Valley Chapter of Pink Heals tour and much more. There will be food available - cabbage and noodles, chicken dinners, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers and clams.

Music will be provided by a deejay, Karaoke with Bubba and Country Rhythm Band.

The Governor Wolf Historical Society museum, 6600 Jacksonville Road, Bath, is open to the public 1-3 p.m. Sept. 24 with tours of the society’s campus offered.
