The Moore Township Environmental Action Committee is holding an electronic recycling event at Moore Township Elementary School on May 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the school, 2835 Mountain View Drive.

Items containing freon (refrigerators and air conditioning units) will not be accepted.

Holy Cross Lutheran Church, located at 696 Johnson Road, is having a dinner and a movie night on Friday, May 9 featuring the film "Every Boy Needs a Hero."

Dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the movie begins 7 p.m.

Holy Cross will also hold a free music concert on Sunday, May 16, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Moore Township Historical Commission is looking for information and pictures that might help them construct a history of Moore Township.

They are accepting donations of photos, letters, family histories, documents and artifacts.

Copies of treasured photos and documents are acceptable.

These donations can be left with Dick Gable at the township municipal building located at 2491 Community Drive, Bath.

Moore Township Athletic Association spring sports picture day is set for Saturday, May 9 starting at 9 a.m.

The MTAA Cheerleaders are holding a bingo and basket raffle fundraiser on Saturday, May 17 at the Klecknersville Rangers Fire Company, located at 2718 Mountain View Drive, Bath.

Doors open at 11 a.m. and bingo starts at 1 p.m.

There will be a bake sale and 50/50 drawings, and the kitchen will be open.

There will also be a MTAA golf tournament on Saturday, May 30 at Whitetail Golf Club, located at 2679 Klein Road, Bath.

Proceeds benefit the MTAA sports programs.

The dinner will be served family style, and there is a cost.
