On Saturday, Jan. 24, the Lehigh Hawks from Lehigh Township wrestled at historic Grace Hall at Lehigh University. The match was pitted against the Forks Township Falcons. Both teams decided to work together to raise money for the Pin Cancer Foundation. Both teams and their fans purchased t-shirts that were made up for Pin Cancer. Evan Druckenmiller of the Lehigh Hawks raised a total of $1,200 to be the highest pledge winner. In less than three weeks the Forks Township team raised $1,600 while the Lehigh Township team raised $3,401 for a total of $5,001. This was truly an amazing job by both teams raising money for a great cause. A check was presented at the intermission of the Lehigh University Franklin & Marshall bout. The sixth grade wrestlers from each team, along with two coaches, presented a check to the Pin Cancer Foundation.
